Designed by acclaimed Brisbane architects Richards & Spence, Brera brings a bold new architectural presence to one of Brisbane’s most culturally influential urban neighbourhoods. Rising from a prominent corner, moments from The Calile Hotel, its distinctive form houses a limited collection of just 14 expansive residences—sublime, private homes positioned above a curated mix of hospitality, retail and commercial spaces. A landscaped rooftop retreat crowns the building, with a swimming pool, sauna, plunge pools, open-air dining and expansive views across Teneriffe, Newstead and the Brisbane skyline.

Intimate in scale, exceptional in execution, Brera is the first major multi-residential building by the practice whose work has helped shape much of the architectural identity of the wider James Street precinct.
